TVR Cerbera Speed Eight 2000

TVR today with this Cerbera spotted in Altrincham a few weeks ago. This particaular Cerbera has the 4.5 V8 engine which produces 420bhp. As far as performance is concerned, 0-62 takes 3.9 seconds and the top speed is 195mph (314km/h) Another icon from my Gran Turismo years!

TVR Meeting Chatsworth

Sagaris / Tuscan Convertible / Tuscan Coupe

Cerbera / S Series / Tuscan

TVR Sagaris, 4.0 straight six engine, 324bhp

TVR Tamora, 3.6 straight six engine, 350bhp

This post is happening thanks to my friend (and reporter) SP who was at Chatsworth house on Sunday, not knowing what was happening there until he arrived. You will have guessed, it was one of the yearly TVR gatherings. The pictures were taken outside the house and in the grounds. Even if there only seem to be a few TVRs around, the day saw hundreds of them lined up on the field, from 1950s Granturas to Griffiths, to Tuscans, S Series, Chimaera, Cerbera, Tamora and Sagaris, most of them seem to have made it there! An event to remember for next year!

So SP, thanks again for the great pictures!

TVR Tuscan Speed 6

Parked outside a café in a seaside village in Cornwall, this is a very nice English built TVR Tuscan Speed 6. It has a 4.0l straight 6 engine which delivers around 400bhp, allowing the Speed 6 to get to 62 in about 4 seconds and reach a top speed of close to 200 mph or 320km/h (on a track of course...)
I know TVR do not have a good reputation in terms of reliability, but what a car for the price of a top of the range BMW!!! (I would still prefer it in one of the pearlescent colours though!)
