Jaguar F-Type S 2013

A Jaguar F-type today with the S model and its 3.0 V6 with 380bhp. I spotted it in Manchester a few weeks ago. The V6 takes the Jag from 0 to 62 in 4.8 seconds and up to a top speed of 171mph or 275km/h. Not sure this is the best spec' I have ever seen on the F-type though...

Mercedes SLS 2010

Spotted on Deansgate in Manchester a few weeks ago, this is a Mercedes SLS. I really like the dark mirror effect on the car with the red highlights! Like with the previous SLS I posted on the blog, you'll find a 6.2 V8 under the bonnet with 563bhp. 0-62 takes under 4 seconds and the top speed is 211mph (340km/h).

Range Rover SDV8 Lumma CLR-R 2014

Continuing the series of prepared Range Rovers, we have a brand I had never come across before: Lumma. The Lumma company is a German company created in 1987 by Horst Lumma. Their British headquarters are in Essex. 

Like with most of the other tunners, this Range Rover has mainly undergone cosmetic changes, bumpers, wheels arch, alloys... It is based on a 2014 Range Rover Vogue SDV8 with a 4.4 V8 engine which produces 334bhp. 0-62mph takes 6.5 seconds and the top speed is 135mph or 217km/h.

Aston Martin Vanquish S 2017

Spotted in Wilmslow a few weeks ago, this is a brand new Aston Martin Vanquish S, with a 6.0 V12 engine which produces 600bhp. 0-62 takes 3.5 seconds and the top speed is 201mph or 323km/h. 

McLaren 675LT Spider 2016

Made popular by many a Youtuber, including Shmee150, MrJWW or Salondrin, we have today a McLaren 675LT Spider seen at the McLaren dealership in Knutsford. The LT is a limited super sport edition produced by McLaren. Only 500 coupes and 500 spiders were made, so they are pretty rare. The 675 has a 3.8 V8 engine which produces 666bhp, allowing the car to reach 62mph from 0 in just 2.9 seconds and a top speed of 205mph or 330km/h. This particular LT is presented in Volcano yellow.

Porsche 911 Turbo 2014

Spotted in Knutsford a few weeks ago, we have today a Porsche 911 Turbo from 2014. The 3.8 flat-6 engine produces 520bhp. 0-62 takes 3.4 seconds and the top speed is 195mph or 314km/h.

Ferrari 488 Challenge race car 2017

After the 488 Spider of the last post, the brand new 488 Challenge race car. It was unveiled at the end of 2016 and it was at the Manchester dealership last weekend, just as I was there! Unlike the GTE and GT3 which are both more hardcore race versions of the 488, the Challenge is heavily based on the stock car, stripped out of course for the track, to allow race enthusiast (and rather wealthy) customers to take part in the Ferrari Challenge series. It has the same 3.9 V8 engine with 660bhp as the 488 GTB, which has been remapped for the track. In terms of performance, I cannot yet find any specifics as all data are still to be confirmed.
