I have just been rooting through pictures on my old desktop computer, and I came across this car, a bit of a rarity as apparently only 40 or so were built. I spotted it on the Champs Elysées in Paris a few years ago: a De Tomaso Guarà. The Guarà was the last De Tomaso to be produced before the company went into liquidation. I cannot tell you accurately about the performance of this very car as over the 11 years the Guarà was produced, De Tomaso used two different engines. So under the bonnet of this Guarà, you will either find a 4.0l BMW V8 with 286bhp or a 4.6l Ford/Visteon V8 with 320bhp. If it is the Ford V8, then expect a 0-62 in about 5 seconds with a top speed of 168mph (270km/h)
I didn't realise at the time that this car was one of the very few in existence, if I had known, I would have taken a few more photographs of it!
