Back with the SUV from Aston Martin: the DBX in matte black. The DBX has a 4.0 V8 engine which produces 542bhp. 0-62mph takes the DBX 4.3 seconds up to a top speed of 181mph or 291km'h.

Aston Martin Vanquish 2016

A white Aston Martin Vanquish today. I wasn't the biggest fan of these when they came out but they have definitely grown on me. With a 5.9 V12 and 592bhp, the Aston is capable of 0-62 in 3.5 second and a top speed of 201mph or 323km/h.

Aston Martin Rapide 2010

The Rapide in black today! The 4-seater Aston Martin is not a very popular car despite being such a beautiful car. Powered by the 470bhpm 5.9 V12, the car covers 0-62 in 5.0 seconds up to a top speed of 188mph (303km/h)

Aston Martin DB9 2015

A beauty today with the Aston Martin DB9 from 2015. 5.9 V12 with 510bhp. 0-62 in 4.6 seconds and a top speed of 183mph or 294km/h. Probably my dream car!

Aston Martin V12 Vantage S Roadster 2016

Stunning Aston Martin V12 Vantage S Roadster in black, spotted in Hale Barnes a few weeks ago. The V12 Vantage S is one of the most powerful Astons out there with its 5.9 V12 and 565bhp. 0-62 takes 3.9 seconds and the top speed is 205mph or 328km/h.

Aston Martin Vanquish S 2017

Spotted in Wilmslow a few weeks ago, this is a brand new Aston Martin Vanquish S, with a 6.0 V12 engine which produces 600bhp. 0-62 takes 3.5 seconds and the top speed is 201mph or 323km/h.

Aston Martin DB11 2017

My first proper sight of the brand new Aston Martin DB11 in Manchester city center yesterday. I did spot one on the motorway a few months ago, probably a test car, but this is the first one I see on the road since it was released. The DB11 is the replacement for one of my favourite cars around, the DB9. It has a 5.2 V12 engine which produces 600bhp. 0-62mph takes 3.9 seconds and the top speed is 200mph or 322km/h.
I must say, I wasn't really a fan of the new shape compared to the DB9 but I think it is progressively growing on me... It will be time for me to go to the dealership and have a closer look at it!

Aston Martin V8 Vantage Volante 1989

Produced in the same year as the Porsche Speedster from my previous post, this is a 1989 Aston Martin V8 Vantage Volante. I spotted the car in Knutsford during my tour of the dealerships a couple of days ago. Even if I am not mad about the colour, this car looks amazing and rather sporty with its agressive front end and wide wheel-arches. The V8 Vantage Volante is quite a rare car as only 192 were ever produced between 1986 and 1989. Under the bonnet, there is a 5.3 V8 engine which produces 370bhp. 0-62 takes 5.8 seconds with a top speed of 155mph (250km/h). Some V8 Vantage Volante were also released as X-pack which had increased performance (402bhp, 0-62 in 5.3 seconds and top speed of 159mph or 256km/h) but I cannot tell you if this model was one of them.

Aston Martin DB11 2016

Heading to France down the M1 and we've just been overtaken by an Aston Martin DB11. Unfortunately I wasn't fast enough to get a better picture! 5.2 twin-turbo V12 with 600bhp, 0-62 in 3.9 seconds and 200mph (322km/h) top speed. Can't wait to get close to another one for some proper pictures!

Aston Martin Rapide S 2016

6.0 V12 and 552bhp for this stunning looking Aston Martin Rapide S spotted a few weeks ago in Wilmslow outside the Aston Martin dealership. The blue paint with the yellow brake calipers is a great combination. The Rapide is the 4-door Aston and this particular one is the S version. The Rapide S replaced the standard Rapide in 2013. The engine was upgraded from 470bhp to 550bhp to 552bhp since 2015. As far as performance is concerned, 0-62 went from 5.0 sec to 4.9 sec to now 4.4 seconds and the top speed from 188.5mph (303km/h) to 190mph (306km/h) to now 203mph (327km/h). All that, with 4 passengers on board!

Aston Martin V12 Vantage S Roadster 2015

You might remember catching a glimpse of this blue beauty in my post from the end of May where I presented the grand opening of the new Manchester Aston Martin service centre, and now here it is, in its very own post. So the pictures of this V12 Vantage S Roadster were taken inside the building on the day. It looks like the standard V8 Vantage, but just a beefed up version with aerodynamic details and a specific colour scheme. And under the bonnet you won't find the standard V8 either but a 5.9 V12 with 565bhp. 0-62 takes 3.9 seconds and the top speed is 205mph or 328km/h. I really think the "Flugplatz blue" colour (as it seems to be called) suits the car to perfection!

Aston Martin V8 Vantage 2008

A car I have already presented a few times on the blog but today, we have the Aston Martin V8 Vantage in an original colour. I have looked on the Aston website to find the actual name for this orange, but the Madagascar Orange looks different so I am wondering whether the order for this particular car hasn't been placed with a tailor-made paint job. If you have the answer, leave a comment!
Just had a comment from J Just J giving the aswer to the colour. It is called Karussell Orange and came as part of the standard choice of colour for the V8 Vantage N400. Thanks again J!

Aston Martin DP-100 2014

Between reality and virtuality, this is the real version of Aston Martin latest digital concept. I mentioned it in my last post about the the opening of Aston Martin's new service centre in Wilmslow, so here it is! The car is called DP-100 and it was designed specifically for the PlayStation racing game Gran Turismo 6. It is powered by a twin-turbocharged 6.0 V12 which produces 800bhp! Not a production car, the DP-100 shows the direction Aston Martin is likely to take for its forthcoming models.

Aston Martin Service Centre Wilmslow Opening 30-05-15

A couple of weeks ago, I received an email from Aston Martin inviting me to the opening of their new service centre in Wilmslow. That was today and it was worth going! Even if the very sleek facilities are a bit tucked away, they have much more space than they used to have at the previous location. The whole range was present, as well as 2 little bonuses, a Vantage GTE and the DP-100 (posts to follow...) The whole Aston team was on hand to answer any questions, supported by an outdoor barbecue and coffee bar!
Thank you Aston Martin and +Stratstone !

Aston Martin Vantage 1995

A month and a half after my last post, I am back with this great Aston Martin Vantage from the mid-90s. Muscly-looking, this Aston has a 5.3 supercharged V8 under the bonnet which produces 550bhp, allowing the Vantage to reach 62mph in 4.6 seconds all the way to 186mph or 300km/h. Not bad for a 20 year-old sports car!

Aston Martin V8 Vantage Volante 2007

Spotted in Sale a few weeks ago, this Aston Martin V8 Vantage convertible. It obviously has a 4.3 V8 engine under the bonnet which produces 380bhp. 0-62 takes 4.9 seconds and top speed of 175mph or 282km/h. This makes me think that I went to have a look round the Wilmslow dealership a couple of days ago and once again the people there were fantastic: very helpful, knowledgeable and passionate. It might look scary to go in one of these showrooms thinking you cannot afford anything there but they still remain "shops". You wouldn't think twice about going round a clothes shop and leaving it empty-handed thinking the clothes are too expensive, would you? Or would you hesitate to go into a museum to admire works of art? Probably not. Just try, go in, have a look around and remember the sales specialists there are car enthusiasts too who love sharing their passion (and generally cannot afford to drive these cars either!)

Aston Martin DB6 1968

As promised a few months ago now, after the DB5, the Aston Martin DB6. Like I said in the post about the DB5, these pictures were taken during the Tatton Classic Car show last summer, hence the first picture with both cars side by side.
The DB6 obviously replaced the DB5 and was produced at the Newport Pagnell factory between 1965 and 1971. Nearly 2,000 DB6 were produced during this period and we have got one here. The 4-liter in-line six-cylinder Aston Martin engine developed 325bhp allowing the car to reach 62mph in 8.5 seconds and a top speed of 150mph or 241km/h.
Like with the DB5, a true gentleman's car!

Aston Martin Vanquish Volante 2013

Today a real beauty taken outside Aston Martin Wilmslow, the new Vanquish Volante! The Volante is the name given to the convertible version of Aston Martins, and this one is absolutely stunning! (hence the 5 pictures instead of the traditional 2!)
The Vanquish Volante has a 6.0 V12 engine with 565bhp. It isn't the fastest sports car around (0-62 takes 4.1 seconds and the top speed is 183mph or 295km/h) but it is definitely one of the most beautiful!
I cannot wait to place my order!

Aston Martin DBS

And another one, my dream car, the Aston Martin DBS seen on Deansgate Manchester. As usual, under the bonnet there is a 6.0 V12 engine with 510bhp. 0-62 takes 4.3 seconds, and the top speed is 191mph (307km/h)

Insider 14 - Aston Martin V8 Vantage Volante

Aston Martin again, DB9 from the outside yesterday, V8 Vantage convertible from the inside today!
Enjoy!
